AARTI STEEL INTERNATIONAL LIMITED have capacity to manufacture spring wire from 0.25 mm to 8.5 mm diameter. The present manufacturing capacity of such wires is 13,200 METRIC TONNES PER YEAR. The basic properties of spring steel wire are given hereunder:

Physical/Mechanical Properties :

  • Dimension & Tolerances :Dimensions & tolerances are maintained as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as per customer’s requirements.
  • Tensile Strength : Tensile Strength of wire is maintained as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as per customer’s requirement.
  • Wrap Test : Wrap test of wire is conducted as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as specified by customers.
  • Torsion Test : The torsion number in the wire is maintained as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as specified by customers.
  • Bend Test : Bend test of wire is conducted as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as specified by customers.
  • Coiling & Stretching Test : This test is conducted as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as per customer’s requirement.
  • Cast of the Wire : Cast of the wire is maintained as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as per specified by customer.
  • Deep Etch Test : The defect on wire surface are checked by deep etch test as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as specified by customers.
  • Decarburization Test : This test is conducted as per IS-4454 Pt 1:2001 or as specified by customers.
  • Coating & Surface Finish : Coating & Surface finish is maintained as per customer’s requirements.
